The integration of SugarCRM with WHMCS will ensure a better management of the relations with the clients, creating and maintaining campaigns or/and managing leads. In SugarCRM every user can be part of a group, every group can have different access rights, so every user can see only certain records.
This process involves migrating data, from WHMCS to SugarCRM, between every major module of WHMCS and SugarCRM, Clients – Account, Billing – Opportunities, Support – Cases.
Clients to Accounts
When a new client is created in WHMCS, immediately when the save process has ended, the data about the client is send to SugarCRM. Based on the data a new Account. This process is repeated when the Client is edited, either by the admin or by the client and the Account in SugarCRM is updated with the new edited data.
Client`s Contacts to Contacts
When a new contact is associated to a client in WHMCS, immediately when the save process has ended, the data about the contact is send to SugarCRM. Based on the data a new Contact in SugarCRM is created. Every Contact is associate to the client`s associated Account. This process is repeated when the Contact is edited, either by the admin or by the client and the Contact in SugarCRM is updated with the new edited data.
Invoices to Opportunities
Once an invoice is created, automatically or by hand, in WHMCS, an opportunity will be created in SugarCRM. It will be associated with the appropriate account (client).
The items from the invoice will be added in the Poduct Catalog, if they do not already exist, and then added to the opportunity’s list of items.
When crating payments to an invoice, the status of the opportunity will be changed and in the Payment module a new entry will be created. The newly created entry will be related to the opportunity.
The refund, from WHMCS, will be also created, in SugarCRM, as payments but with a negative value and the status of “Refund”.
Invoices can also be created from the SugarCRM instance and pushed to WHMCS, but only if the client and products exist in the WHMCS system.
Support tickets to Cases
All the tickets from WHMCS are submitted in the SugarCRM instance as a Case. All WHMCS replays to a ticket, will also be saved in the Case module in the history subpanel as notes or email.
Cases to Invoices in WHMCS
The worked time on that case, and the dates when the work was done can be saved in the “Billable Hours” module.
When the status of the case is changed to “Completed & Invoiced” a new invoice will be created in WHMCS under the related client of the case`s account. For the new invoice added in WHMCS a new opportunity will be created and will have a reference to the case, from which the invoice was created.
If the case is edited after the status was changed to “Completed & Invoiced”, the changes will not be sent to WHMCS.
Track inbound/outbound calls from Asterisk/Freepbx/Elastix into SugarCRM in Calls module.Identify the caller for inbound
calls and display it in any SIP phone like x-lite.
Data is sent and received between SugarCRM server and Asterisk Server with no user interaction. Both module loaders
are installable in SugarCRM and FreePBX.

Once you are done with downloading of CRM and install of SugarCRM module. The image below explains how you can start with the installation process.
The next step is configuring the relation between SugarCRM user and Elastix extension. Here is how you can do it:
After SugarCRM and Elastix installation configurations
For inbound calls (only for ring groups)
When inbound call arrives Elastix connects to SugarCRM and searches for the phone number.
Also at this point SugarCRM creates a “Call” record for this call. If the phone number is assigned to a Contact/Lead/Account the associated name will be returned to Elastix and will alter the CALLERID(name) so the name is related to SugarCRM as well.
Also the “Call” record will be related to corresponding Contact/Lead/Account so you will also have a clear history of previous actions for Contact/Lead/Account. Contact/Lead/Account will be displayed on Elastix extensions sip phones or the ones you are using.
Now when an agent (Elastix extension) will pick the call, his action will be tracked in SugarCRM and will mark the “Call”
record as call “Answered”.
After the call is finished (answered or not), it is updated in SugarCRM record again to enter the total duration and
moment when the call was ended or mark it as “Not Held”.
For outbound calls (only PRO version)
When users dials, a new call, “Call” record will be created in the SugarCRM . Also the “Call” record will be associated and
updated to corresponding Contact/Lead/Account. When the call is ended or not answered the “Call” record in
SugarCRM will be updated with corespondig details.

Our History
Established in 2000, Danmar focused mainly on business software development. Being a small company, it centered on providing high satisfaction to clients at high levels. The main areas of interest were ERP systems, therefore Danmar developed its own ERP system based on MySQL database, which was successfully implemented among multiple large companies.
Driven by customer requests, Danmar started developing and implementing CRM solutions in 2005. We began providing solutions based on SugarCRM, wherein we developed over 300 modules for clients across the globe, helping them improve and enhance their existing businesses.
Our Work
Starting in 2005, we took on a high customization project for BMR Barnett McCall BMR/Romania.
More or less, this was the first large implementation project we completed for SugarCRM, where in addition to standard tasks, we developed an outlook plugin for SugarCRM, a somewhat daunting task at the time.
In 2007, we were already releasing our first free software on Sugarforge.com, and we created our first Google integration with SugarCRM: the calendar was synced between SugarCRM and Google Calendar.
We have been working for years helping improve and develop some of our strategic CRM clients as East Coast Health Insurance, one of the largest insurance brokers in the eastern United States. Here, we work nonstop, improving daily processes to help employees increase productivity and have all data available when they need it. We can claim that we have created an insurance domain-dedicated CRM.
Danmar is also present in the UK through SouthWest ICT, who is a fellow SugarCRM partner. We are developing and solving client issues, and we have developed, in the past few years, add-ons and full integrations such as SugarCRM-Joomla!-KnowledgeTree.
SuperLight is also one of our great partners, for whom we were happy to develop . Through this software, we have solved many tickets, and received and improved existing work flows to enhance activity and response times.
In Belgium, Delta Engineering BVBA http://www.delta-engineering.be/ is using many of our improvements to optimize their processes. We started with a customized version of Google Maps that can be used by agents to schedule their entire trip to one country by time spent in one location and by travel time, and went further with other customizations that help SugarCRM agents improve their job. Additionally, we are testing with a C2C (Click 2 Call) that will help all agents improve their activity, and speed up all call-related processes both inbound and outbound.
In addition to this small sample of our client database, we have had at least another 100 CRM clients using our services for regular implementation steps, such as changing edit/detail/list views or adding/editing fields, as well as more complex issues.
